Hey, thanks for stopping by! I'm Okan — a 21-year-old mechatronics engineering student based in Istanbul. I build mobile apps and websites, and I'm always experimenting with new ideas. If it can be built, I want to try it.
My Story
I first got curious about coding back in high school, but life happened and I took a break. Then AI started changing everything — and that spark came back stronger than ever. I started building my own projects, learning by doing, and honestly haven't stopped since. Right now I'm a 3rd year Mechatronics Engineering student at Istanbul Bilgi University, where everything is taught in English. The engineering side gave me Arduino and robotics, and the curiosity side gave me React Native, Next.js, and a whole lot of late nights.
What I Do
I freelance building mobile apps and websites — using React Native, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind, and Supabase. AI is a big part of my workflow; I use it both to speed up development and to integrate smart features into the products I build. Every project is different, and that's exactly what makes it exciting.
Where I'm Heading
I want to keep balancing university and real-world work — ideally remote, from my desk, building things that matter. Whether that's freelance projects, my own products, or a role that aligns with what I love doing, I'm open to wherever the journey takes me. The goal is simple: never stop building, never stop learning.

Swipe Gallery
My first app — a Tinder-style gallery cleaner. Swipe right to delete, swipe left to keep. A fun and easy way to free up phone storage. Later sold the project.

A Secret Santa web app for Istanbul Bilgi University students. 120+ users signed up, created personality-based profiles, and got randomly matched to exchange gifts anonymously.

Robotic Hand
A 3D-printed robotic hand controlled by Arduino and servo motors. Uses Python and OpenCV to track real hand movements in real time — even plays rock-paper-scissors.
